1. Khandarani Lake

This is a dam which is used for irrigation. The Khandarani Lake is surrounded by lovely trees and wide range of mountains. Different wild bird spices migrate to visit this place during the winter season. The air is filled with flaps and flutters. You can relax and sit back to take the oxygen along with the view. The lush growth of abundant vegetation makes the lakes much more like an eye soothing spot. Khandarani's view and the nature is spectacular.

2. Ghagra Waterfalls

This is a fall that is hidden under the rocks and boulders deep within the vegetation. This Ghagra Waterfalls remained unexplored by many tourists. Visitors can marvel at the streams of the flowing streams of Ghagra. You can simply get a sharp feature over the rocks as the streams tumble upon it. the majestic flow of unrestricted water currents and magnificent waterfall that is uncanny by its splendour drawing the visitors. The whole area is giving an unsettling feeling which is surrounded by towering rocks, cryptic shrubs and rural surroundings. In fact, the nostalgic "Behula Lakhindar", the old Bengali movie was filmed here. If you want to witness the magnificence of the waterfall then monsoon is a good season.

3. Gadrasini Hill

Gadrasini Hill offers a tranquil and serene environment. Nestled at the hill's base is the Gadrasini Ashram, a spiritual center where people engage in peaceful meditation. This ashram provides a unique opportunity for spiritual enlightenment, inspired by the teachings of Lahiri Maharaj and Swami Yogananda. Surrounding the ashram, there are two temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu. For the adventurous, there are also Debi Ma Guha and Jagadananda Siddhi Guha to explore. Gadrasini Hill is a haven for vibrant birdlife, making it an excellent spot for birdwatching and photography away from the crowds. Lastly, don't miss the breathtaking panoramic view from the hill's summit.

4. Tarafeni Dam

Tarafeni is another captivating area, where visitors are entranced by the rapid river currents colliding with rugged boulders, especially during the rainy season. It's a mesmerizing sight to watch the meandering river follow its zigzag course. For the local residents, this dam is a vital source of drinking water, primarily supplied by the Mukutmanipur Dam. When excess water is released from the canals, the beauty of the dam is enhanced, and the swirling currents of water showcase the wonders of nature.

5. Kanaisor Hills

Kanaisor Hill, enveloped by dense forests, stands as a majestic testament to Mother Nature's beauty. This steep terrain offers panoramic views of settlements nestled at the foothills, bustling with agricultural activity. At the hill's summit, an annual community fair, known as 'mela,' takes place in July, drawing people from all around to worship the mountain god. During autumn, tribal communities celebrate their religion for five days, attracting thousands of participants. The fair features colorful stalls displaying a wide array of homemade toys, goods, and handicrafts.

6. Laljal Cave

Lalajal is a stunning mountain village with traces of prehistoric cavemen and artifacts like Belapaharira. The village is known for its spring water, which carries a faint crimson hue and a unique taste when it flows over copper and iron. Locals attribute the village's name, Lalajala, to the reddish tint of the water. To the west of the village, you can find a prehistoric caveman in Deopahare, situated in the southernmost part of the mountain range, Sinlahara. The village of Raniphara lies to the north, preserving evidence of ancient civilizations in Abahelitai.

7. Kakrajhore Forest

Kankrajhore is surrounded by lush forests, offering a mesmerizing skyline with abundant trees and rolling mountain landscapes. Visitors can appreciate the labyrinthine paths winding through the untamed vegetation that lead to Kankrajhore, covering a distance of 23 kilometers effortlessly. Many tourists visit Kankrajhore to immerse themselves in the distinctive and fascinating aspects of tribal life. It's a rare opportunity to gain firsthand knowledge of the rich cultural history of the tribal community by interacting with tribal members engaged in their daily activities. Staying in their beautifully crafted homes, sharing their meals, and participating in their mythology is an enticing experience.

8. Khandarani Dam

Khandarani Dam is nestled amidst pristine nature, where the beauty of the lake harmonizes with captivating forests and mountains. During the winter, the area becomes a haven for multicolored migratory birds. The natural beauty of Khandarani Dam Area is simply breathtaking.

9. Dhangikusum Falls

Mazy pathways with ups and downs, weaving through wild greenery filled with Sal, Pial, Kendu, Simul, and more, create a memorable experience. Just 1 kilometer from the viewpoint is Dhangikusum Falls (locally known as Dungri). Dhangikusum Village is renowned for its stone craftsmanship, and you can purchase their handmade products.
